Afrigran - Granite, Mrable and Caesarstone

Care and maintenance
The ever-lasting finish of your granite, marble or CaesarStone requires only simple and routine care to maintain its good looks. Cleaning with a damp cloth and a little liquid detergent will do the job. Quartz based surfaces such as CaesarStone are heat resistant and highly impervious to stains, able to withstand exposure to tea, soda, wine, vinegar, lemon juice, and strongly coloured spices. Just wipe away and the surface is like new again.

Use these cleaners with a damp cloth or a pink non scratch scourer on your Caesar Stone tops: (also see attached)

Caesarstone cleaner – This will get wine, curry, turmeric etc. off the Caesarstone (purchased from ISS at 133 Rochdale Rd, Springfield)
Chemico liquid - Original scent (the lemon scent does not seem to work as well) in the bottle and NOT the tub - the tub is very abrasive. This can be purchased from any supermarket, Checkers, Spar, Pick ‘n Pay etc.
Windowlene – is an anti-static, de-greaser and shines the Caesarstone, it keeps the stone looking shiny. Especially for the darker colours where finger prints show up.

Natural stone (Granite and Marble)

Care and maintenance
Natural stone is cleaned with a damp cloth and liquid soap. Never use abrasive materials, bleach, anything with amonia in it like handy-andy all will ruin the polished surface.
Natural stone is porous and absorbs stains, Granite is more resilient than Marble but in both cases it is advised to mop up any spills as soon as possible to avoid any imperfections.
